MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF CHIEF-WARDEN
Warmest Greetings!!!
It gives me immense inclination to welcome all the boarders to be a part of
DBRANLU family that strives to provide the boarders a home-friendly and
healthy atmosphere with safety and security in the hostels. At the hostels, we not
only take efforts to provide its boarders a neat and clean environment and a
comfortable place to live in, but encourage them to live in discipline, because the
cost of discipline is always less than the price of regret, therefore self-discipline
is the biggest investment for success in life. Moreover, beyond the discipline
living in a hostel presupposes high degree of talent, integrity, diversity,
mindfulness, mutual cooperation, harmony, open-mindedness and hard work for
a bright future and good image of the institution. The hostel and university
administration has zero tolerance for drugs and ragging like activities.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat (DBRANLU) is situated
in the Rajiv Gandhi Educational City, Rai, Sonepat where more than thirteen
renowned educational institutions and universities have been established. The
University has locational advantage as it’s within the National Capital Region
(NCR) and provides a congenial ecosystem for the holistic development of all the
students. The University is fully residential for the students enrolled in Under-
graduate programme and Post-graduate (One Year) programme. It has separate
hostels for girls and boys within the campus situated just at a minute’s walk from
the Academic Block. Boy’s Hostel is named as ‘VIVEKANANDA HOSTEL’
and girl’s hostel as ‘AHILYABAI HOSTEL’. The former is named after Swami
Vivekananda a widely regarded as one of the greatest modern Indian thinkers and
the latter after Devi Ahilyabai Holkar an inspirational ruler. Both the hostels are
eight storied with twin side galleries with side and room balconies. Both the
hotels are meant with the state-of-the-art facilities i.e. air-conditioned rooms; Wi-
Fi; CCTV camera surveillance; gymnasium & common room in both the hostels;
indoor games; reading room; water purifiers/RO and water coolers in both the
galleries of each floor; modernised common mess with separate dining area for
boys and girls adjoining to both the hostels respectively; solar geysers; twin
elevator/lift facility in both the hostels etc.
