“Field Visit Report (Brief) B.A. LL.B First Semester Students On 25 September 2019 , 22 students of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar National Law university, Rai, Sonepat, Haryana under the supervision of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Dean of student’s welfare and Assistant Professor of History in DBRANLU, Sonepat visited the village Pallari Khurd to know the lifestyle of the people living in that area. The
Sarpanch (Pradhan) Mr. Mohan Singh of the village Pallari Khurd, he supported and gave lot of information of the village society. The village comprises of approximately 700 voters and people of various communities
and casts live peacefully. Students interacted with the people of village and came to know that People are engaged in various professions like agriculture, mercantile and labour. Only 7 to 8 people in the village of 700 people works in government sector. Their income is only sufficient for their basic needs. They have very less to invest. Students also visited the chaupal and government school. That school was till 8th, Earlier it was till 4th. The school was well constructed and spacious and various schemes were implemented. The total number of students in the school is 103, 58 in junior wing (6th to 8th) and 45 in primary wing (1st to 5th ). Eight Teachers including school headmaster look after these 103 children. Inspite of good facilities, enrollment of students is less. The sanitation and hygiene were less in the village. The Sarpanch of the village has appointed two ersons for the cleanliness of village but still garbage was lying in streets and proper drainage system was not there.
According to a resident of the village Pallari khurd, Mr. Mehar singh, he said that the no. Of girls is almost equal to the no. Of boys and there is no discrimination on the basis of gender. The education rate of girls which is generally presumed to be lesser in villages is comparatively equal to the education rate of boys of Pallri Khurd village but that education can not help them in getting white collar jobs. The students interacted with another resident of the village Mr Srinivas, a father of 4 children. He told that his son and daughter have the ualification of only Senior Secondary as the higher education is in Sonipat as it is not convenient for them to send them there. Students keenly observed the problems and decided to work for community development. Every Saturday students of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar National law university Rai, Sonepat will visit a village and will work for the welfare of the society. Students will work for the upliftment of the village by making them aware about their fundamental rights and about the importance of education and sanitation. “
