Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National University, Rai (Sonepat) is a young and emerging National level institution of higher education & research in the sphere of legal education. It has been established to create new benchmarks in the field of legal education with a mandate to transform and re-define the process of legal education to meet the challenges of ever-evolving humane society.

The aim of the DBRANLU is to ignite the bright minds of the country with the spirit of social responsibility and to facilitate the social engineering process by means of value based legal education in every walk of life. Our motto is to chisel a new generation of able, competent and socially sensitive legal professionals to serve the society at local as well as global platform.
In our endeavour, we have set the goal of transforming the legal education into justice education as an instrument of socio-economic and political changes. To inculcate the professional skills in our students, the pedagogy at University, comprises of various correlative techniques like Interactive Sessions, Field Visits, Moot courts, Group Discussions, Seminars & Conferences, with other learning techniques viz Client interviewing, exposure to ADR (Alternate Disputes Redressal) Mechanism. Also, to ensure the relevancy & pragmatic sense of the study material as well as Curriculum, we are looking forward for Student Exchange Programmes with other National/International Institutions in the area of legal education.

Our primary focus is to overcome gaps & to establish the University as a bridge connecting the law with various spheres of human society like industry, professional services, politics and life of a common man. In chasing above objectives, we are committed for establishing the University as an Institute of National Importance in long run in the field of justice education by transforming our students into professionally competent, technically sound and socially relevant & sensitive lawyers, who can address the future challenges in the new millennium, uphold the values of Indian Constitution and help to strengthen the rule of law in the country.

We are also committed to establish the University as a premier institution in the sphere of Teaching & Legal Research so that we may nurture and shape the Youth of the country in realizing their dreams.

Having considered the above perspectives and continual improvements process, we shall be surely able to deliver & serve the society through justice education by creating socially responsible & sensitive human assets with blended experience of theoretical & practical aspects.
